About Darren Jew

Working in underwater, wildlife, landscape and travel photography, Darren has been widely published and has had assignments across Australia, Africa, Alaska, Patagonia, and Antarctica. Darren was inspired to become involved in nature photography by his father’s travels in Antarctica and has worked as a photographer for Queensland National Parks and Wildlife Service, a Managing Editor at Living Planet Magazine, and as Whale Swimming Guide in Tonga. Darren is an AIPP Master of Photography and has been named the Canon/AIPP Australian Science, Environment and Nature Photographer of the Year in 2007, 2009 and again in 2010.
